Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 28/08/2018 regarding Taj Trapezium Zone. Supreme Court held discussion with Meenakshi Dhote, who is the Professor of Environmental Planning, DSPA and Project Coordinator of Vision Document asked her to approach the Court for any assistance. With respect to declaring Agra as a heritage city, ASG has informed the Court that a communication in this regard has been sent to the Government of Uttar Pradesh to send a proposal for declaring Agra as a heritage city. Also Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) will file the Management Plan with the World Heritage Centre of UNESCO within a period of three months.
