Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Mahesh Kumar Vs. State of Haryana & Others dated 12/09/2018. Allegation in this application is that a pond at village Sihi in Faridabad district, which is an existing water body, is being destroyed by dumping garbage. Existence of the pond is recorded in revenue record. Illegal closing of pond is being done by Municipal Corporation, Faridabad. NGT directs the Deputy Commissioner, Faridabad to look into the matter and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
