Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of M. C. Mehta Vs Union of India & Others dated 29/11/2018 regarding Vision Document for the protection and preservation of Taj Mahal.
[2] The Court has been informed that the Vision Document is near finalization and will be ready in a couple of days which will be then submitted to the State of Uttar Pradesh. Additional Solicitor General submits before the Court that the first draft of the Management Plan to be given to UNESCO is expected to be finalized within eight weeks. Further with regard to declaring Agra as a heritage city, the State of Uttar Pradesh has been asked to give a proposal.
