Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Dhrubo Mukiherjee Vs Pollution Control Board, West Bengal & Others dated 08/04/2019 regarding operation of illegal industries without obtaining necessary consent to operate and establish around the water bodies and discharging untreated effluents into the water bodies causing water pollution of the water bodies in West Bengal.

NGT directs the West Bengal Pollution Control Board to file a detailed action taken report and also the present state of affairs of the industries which are operating around the water bodies as mentioned in the petition and if any of the industries are violating the norms the action taken etc. within two months.
