Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Satyapal Sharma Vs State of Punjab dated 07/05/2019 regarding violation by bottling and distillery factories of Rajasthan Liquors at Village Haripur Hindua, Derabassi, Punjab. [2] The report submitted by the Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) and the Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA) informs that the "analysis results of treated industrial effluent of Distillery Unit & Bottling Plant reveal that the industry is conforming to the prescribed standards." But the industry has not yet obtained permission for abstraction of ground water for the bottling plant.

NGT directs the PPCB to ensure that the unit has requisite permission for abstraction of ground water for the bottling plant. If no such permission is obtained within reasonable time which may be determined by the PPCB, coercive measures will be taken in accordance with law.
