Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Abhjit Sinha Vs Ministry of Communications & Others dated 29/07/2019 regarding a mobile tower being constructed/installed illegally at Lalkothi Road, District Katihar, Bihar which is located at a distance of about 50 meters from schools and the hospitals.

The District Magistrate, Katihar and the Bihar State Pollution Control Board has been directed to jointly inspect the area in question and verify on the factual aspects contained in the complaint. If the allegation is found to be true, appropriate steps should be taken for "amelioration of the residents of the area" read the NGT order.
