Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Pramod Kumar Jha Vs Govt. of NCT of Delhi dated 07/08/2020. A report was sought from the Delhi Jal Board and Delhi Pollution Control Committee with reference to the allegation of illegal extraction of ground water in village Jagatpur, Civil Lines Delhi near Yamuna biodiversity park for sale through tankers and further grievance was that charcoal drums were being burnt in open causing air pollution.

Accordingly, a report has been filed by Delhi Jal Board on December 18, 2019 and by the DPCC on January 14, 2020 followed by further report on July 30, 2020. The tribunal was informed that remedial action has been taken and in view of this the application was disposed of by the NGT.
