The matter related to pollution caused by M/s Panipat Co-operative Sugar Mills Limited, Gohana Road, Panipat.

The Joint Committee report recommended that the unit should be asked to adhere with the prescribed norms, observations and recommendations made by the Committee towards management of effluent, emissions, solid and hazardous waste generated and submit a monthly compliance status report to HSPCB. Compensation must be recovered based on historical data of the unit on record. Further, the unit should dispose of the stored raw spent wash in a scientific manner.
