The matter related to demolition of unauthorised structures on the forest land at Khori Gaon, Faridabad, Haryana. The Faridabad Municipal Corporation assured the SC that action against unauthorized structures standing on the forest land would be taken following due process of law, including to examine the claim of the occupants for rehabilitation as per the existing rehabilitation scheme.
