The matter related to air pollution in Kolkata and establishment of CNG network in the city and its adjoining areas. All the respondents (Central Pollution Control Board, West Bengal Pollution Control Board, Government of West Bengal and Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change) have been directed to file their counter affidavits within four weeks.
The NGT, Eastern Zone Bench, Kolkata directed that The Times of India, the US Consulate General, Kolkata and Centre for Science and Environment be deleted from the array of Respondents.
