Reply affidavit on behalf of Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) regarding the working of M/s Golden Crown Hotel and Spa.

During site inspection of the hotel, January 20, 2021 it was seen that the hotel's organic waste composter was not in operation. Further, the hotel had commenced operation, January 1, 2021 but was not operating the composting facility from January 1, 2021 - March 10, 2021 (period of 70 days). The SPCB directed the unit to pay a penalty of Rs. 4,37,500.
