Order of the National Green Tribunal regarding burning of plastic and other waste, 17/12/2021 [1]

Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Akash Kumar Vs State of Uttar Pradesh dated 17/12/2021.

Grievance in the application is against burning of plastic and other waste at the main road connecting Leprosy Mission Road to Naini Station, which is part of the National Highway in Prayagpuram, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, adversely affecting public health.

The NGT directed the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board, Nagar Nigam, Prayagraj and District Magistrate, Prayagraj to take remedial action after verification of facts in accordance with law.
