The matter related to the running of illegal industrial units at Shastri Nagar, a residential area in Delhi. During the inspection by a team three units were found operating illegally without any license from the authorities. Notices have been issued to the owners of the property by the MCD with the direction to bring the premises within the permitted use (residential purpose) only as per Master Plan for Delhi 2021.
