Short affidavit by M/S Indian Potash Limited before the NGT, 15/01/2024.

The NGT had directed the industry to fly reply mentioning in detail the green belt maintained by it, particulars of the land where the plantation of 5,000 trees was carried out, the activities which were carried out under CSR/CER schemes among others. The industry had participated in the Vrahad Vraksha Ropan Maha Abhiyan 2023 and planted 5000 treees of various varieties. Out of the 5000 new plants planted, around 1500 could not survive and at present there are around 3500 trees in the factory premises.

The industry has also installed and commissioned a sulphate removal system in the plant on December 13, 2023 to get better quality of treated water.
