The joint committee observed some amount of illegal encroachments/illegal possessions. A demolition drive was carried out on May 15, 2023. However the encroachments were partially demolished owing to resistance from the inhabitants. Further, an amount of Rs 47 lakhs has been sanctioned by the Director (Panchayat) vide sanction order, February 29, 2024 for construction of boundary wall for protection of johad in village Kanganheri.
