 Encashing a crisis [1]

Water tankers are cashing in on water shortage in Karachi. Residents of the water-starved localities have complained that private water tankers are charging between Rs 450 and Rs 500 per tanker. The Karachi water department has failed to ensure supply of water to many colonies in the city. People who cannot afford to pay the tankers are consuming sub-soil unhygienic water at the cost of their health.
