AHMEDABAD: Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) was awarded by
the Government of India for leading in economic use of diesel. During 200
5-06, GSRTC had shown an average of 4.72 km per litre.
Despite this, the corporation introduced fuel saving measures. This included proper maintenance, imparting suitable training to drivers, maintaining speed control
