Yamuna remains most polluted river [1]

NEW DELHI

Jan. 13: Yamuna enjoys the distinction of being the most polluted river in the country.

The latest status of water quality in India 2007 released by the Central Pollution Control Board, ministry of environment and forests, observes that the total coliform and faecal coliform numbers are the highest in this river.
