Govt for mid-day meals in Christian schools [1]

The government is open to starting the mid-day meal (MDM) scheme in private Christian schools, not yet covered under the scheme. The HRD Ministry today set up a high-level committee to look at the need and feasibility of providing the scheme to private Christian schools, primarily those in the tribal areas.
