WB to help ensure food security [1]

The World Bank (WB) will assist Bangladesh in building modern silos and food warehouses to increase stock and ensure food security in the country.

The WB would also continue its cooperation in renovating the storehouses at upazila level. It has also expressed willingness to cooperate in social security programmes.
