A human chain was formed by people and the students of Rupganj upazila at Murapara point of the river Sitalakhya on March 23 protesting against the industrial units polluting waters of the river Sitalakhya and Balu.
Later a meeting was held at attended by the people of all walks of life with Zohara Begum, secretary of the Human resource, a non-government organization.
