Trees being removed to widen roads near new Assembly complex [1]

Giving way: The trees which were removed on Swami Sivananda Salai.

CHENNAI: The Chennai Corporation has started removing 261 trees on roads around the new Legislative Assembly Complex construction site. This is being done as part of the road widening project for better traffic management once the complex is completed.
