The Supreme Court on Monday asked the government to finalise by February 23, 2010, the next date of hearing on how soon the expert panel headed by environmentalist R K Pachauri would conclude the Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) study of an alternative alignment for Sethusamudram Ship Channel Project between Dhanushkodi and Rameswaram Island.
