A ONE-AND-A-HALF-YEAROLD elephant was found dead at the Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History in Anaikatty, near here. The post-mortem report revealed that the calf that had come to quench thirst died due to hepatitis B besides severe parasite infection.
