JORHAT, May 14: Wild elephants unable to forage on the lush green vegetation on Naga hills due to ongoing jhum cultivation ransacked a number of fields in the Dihingapar area. A few houses of workers at the Kathonibari tea estate and the shop of one Purna Bora of Meleng were destroyed in the rampage.
