SHILLONG: Several NGOs led by the Shella Action Committee (SAC) have resolved to carry on their fight against the cement giant Lafarge to prevent it from mining in the Shella areas.
The NGOs in a joint meeting held here on Friday decided to write a letter to Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh seeking extension of the prohibition imposed on the French company.
