ALUVA: A police team led by Circle Inspector K B Prafulla Chandran, destroyed six country-boats used for illegally transporting river sand from the Periyar at Uliyannoor and Kunjunnikkara area, near here, on Monday.
The boats had been seized when police raided the area last week.
