The district panchayat is planning to take up integrated drinking water and solid-waste management projects in association with block and grama panchayats in the coming fiscal.
These and other draft projects proposed under the 2011-12 budget Plan of the district panchayat were discussed with block and grama panchayat representatives and standing committee members at the grama sabha meeting held
