 Israel in the dumps [1]

ACTIVISTS of the environmental group - Greenpeace stopped a ship from dumping toxic wastes off Israel's coast. This incident occured in the first week of May, this year. To stall the dumping, inflatable Green-peace boats circled the Israeli ship - carrying toxic waste from the Haifa Chemicals Ltd company- off the coast of Haifa. Said Ori Zik, a visibly indignant Greenpeace spokesperson. "The company dumps heavily acidic toxic waste which is melting down the already polluted Mediterranean. They dump it outside Israeli territorial waters and this is a violation."
