Shimla: The government will spend Rs 10.39 crore on creating various infrastructure facilities at the Pong Dam lake in the first phase under the Asian Development Bank-funded Infrastructure Development Investment Programme for Tourism.
Director of Tourism Arun Sharma said his department would also promote community-based tourism activities for generating employment avenues for the local people
