Acquisition of huge tracts of fertile land in Gurgaon district by the Haryana Government has come under the scanner in the Supreme Court with a PIL questioning the absence of environmental impact assessment being undertaken prior to such exercise.
Issuing notice to the Centre and Haryana Government, the Bench of Justices JM Panchal and HL Gokhale sought responses to the issues raised by the PIL
