Kuttanad Package to get Rs.1,000 crore this year [1]

Rs.3,500-crore full package to be implemented in 3 years Comprehensive plan to clean up Vembanad Lake New high-yielding rice variety developed THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government will earmark Rs.1,000 crore for the Kuttanad Package in the revised Budget for the current year. It will also chart out a comprehensive plan to clean up the polluted Vembanad Lake.
