The Supreme Court on Tuesday came down heavily on the Central government for failing to provide infrastructure facilities to Vamsadhara Water Dispute Tribunal resulting in delay in resolving the long-standing water row between Andhra Pradesh and Odisha. “You are in deep slumber, what will you need to wake up. This is not expected of the Union of India,” a bench headed by Justice Altamas Kabir, the senior- most judge after the CJI, told Centre’s counsel.
