 STATING REASONS [1]

A division bench of the Supreme Court has directed the Central Zoo Authority to notify the apex court about the steps taken to preserve the tiger population in various zoos and reserve forests. The state government of Andhra Pradesh has also submitted a detailed report to the Supreme Court about the recent killing of a tigress in a Hyderabad zoo.
