The following draft of certain rules further to amend the Coal Mines (Conservation and Development) Rules, 1975 which the Central Government proposes to make in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 18 of the Coal Mines (Conservation and Development) Act, 1974 (28of 1974), were published as required by sub-section (1) of Section 18 of the said Act in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i) dated the 27th September, 2911 under the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Coal . These rules may be called the Coal Mines (Conservation and Development) Amendment Rules, 2011.
