Haryana to set up two power plants [1]

Haryana plans to set up a 660-MW thermal unit at Yamunanagar and a gas-based thermal plant of 1,500 MW at Faridabad.

Stating this on Monday after laying the foundation stone for a 33-KV sub-station in Gudha village near Narnaul, Power Minister Ajay Singh Yadav said the total installed capacity had increased to 7,667 MW and to meet the increasing demand, the State Government was making all-out efforts to create additional capacity generation.
