The original application is registered on the basis of a letter petition raising the issue of disposal of fly ash lying at the site of Aravali Range in violation of Aravali Notification dated May 7, 1992, by MoEF&CC restricting certain activities in specified areas of Aravalli Range, even after closure of power house, Bata Chowk, Faridabad.

The application raised the issue of disposal of fly ash lying at a site in Aravalli even after closure of the power house, Bata Chowk, Faridabad. This is violation of Aravalli Notification, May 7, 1992 by the MoEF&CC restricting certain activities in the specified area of Aravalli Range.

Haryana State Pollution Control Board and the District Magistrate, Faridabad has been directed by the NGT to file an action taken report on construction taking place even after the demolition of a school building in Sector-89, Faridabad. The school was built in a green area and violated the master plan and zoning plan.

Affidavit by Chief Secretary to government of Haryana in compliance of directions of the National Green Tribunal, October 10, 2022. The matter is related to illegal mining in Aravalli hills of Gurugram, Mewat and Faridabad districts.

The Mines and Geology Department, Haryana is committed to stop illegal mining in the Aravalli hill area of districts Faridabad, Gurugram and Nuh. The department has taken action in 9 cases out ouf 44 complaints received by it on illegal mining in Aravali hills area.
