The threat of landslides is looming large over a dozen houses at Sunirgund Malangpora in the Awantipora area of Pulwama district as the Karewa land (elevated table land) in their village has been sliding after heavy snowfall and rain from the last few months.
Villagers said even though they had sent many representations to Pulwama Deputy Commissioner Manzoor Ahmad lone but all were ignored. They alleged he was acting as a spectator.
