Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Noida Lok Manch Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 06/05/2014 regarding illegal sand mining on Indian Air Force land in Faridabad. The Tribunal noted that it was evident that there was unauthorized and illegal removal/theft of 60032 metric tons of sand causing financial loss of Rs. 1.4 crore and more to the State exchequer.
