The Commission submitted its ‘First Report on illegal mining of iron and manganese ores in the State of Jharkhand’ on 14th October, 2013. A ‘Memorandum of Action Taken’ on the ‘First Report on illegal mining of iron and manganese ores in the State of Jharkhand’ of the Commission has been prepared taking into account the comments received from concerned Central Ministries / Departments and Government of Jharkhand.
