Order of the National Green Tribunal (Principal Bench, New Delhi) in the matter of Vikrant Kumar Tongad Vs. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Ltd & Others dated 11/05/2015 regarding installation of rainwater harvesting systems in public buildings of Delhi.
The Tribunal in its order said that from "the year 2013, the Tribunal has been passing various orders requiring all Hospitals, Hotels, Government Buildings and
even private buildings to install rain water harvesting system and to ensure that they work efficiently and effectively. These directions were issued keeping in view the depleting ground water level in Delhi."
