Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Toxics Link Vs. Union of India & Others dated 03/12/2015 regarding enforcement of E-Waste Rules, 2011.

Obligations or responsibilities spelt out under the Ewaste Rules, 2011 need to be made more effective and for that purpose more responsive vis.a. vis every stakeholder country wide according to NGT and feels that the scheme regarding enforcement of these obligations/responsibilities within given time frame at the pain of damages being made payable in the event of failure to perform or discharge such obligations/responsibilities needs to be spelt out.
