Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Kalindi Residents Welfare Association (KRWA) Vs. Union of India & Ors. dated 12/02/2016 regarding mosquito breeding in Delhi.
The joint inspection report dated 14th January, 2016 submitted before the Tribunal has requested NGT to direct the "SDMC to do ani-mosquito breeding operation in the area till the bio-diversity park is developed by DDA. Otherwise also, it is the mandate of the SDMC also worth to say that problem is also due to discharge of the polluted water from the Maharani Bagh drain owned and maintained by SDMC”.
