Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of Chadha Papers Ltd. Vs. U.P.P.C.B. & Others dated 19/02/2016 regarding pollution caused by Chadha Papers Ltd., Uttar Pradesh.
NGT directed Joint Inspection team to conduct an inspection with the association of a nominated lecturer/professor of IIT Roorkee, Paper Division. They shall deal with all the aspects in relation to use of chemical, whether complete mechanism for treating papers for creating steam pulp for processing is in existence or not and what is the other mode available for treating the paper and what is the other alternative mechanism with the industry as provided in its own system.
