Order of the National Green Tribunal (Central Zonal Bench, Bhopal) in the matter of Pramode Chugh Vs. State of Madhya Pradesh & Others dated 15/07/2016 regarding use of electronic crematorium to protect the depleting green cover with especially Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur & Gwalior. Counsel for the Bhopal Municipal Corporation submitted before the Tribunal that proposals for establishing the electronic crematorium one at Chhola and other at Bhadbhada have already been sent to the State Government. However, so far no sanctions have been received in this behalf.
