Order of the Supreme Court of India regarding Cauvery water dispute, 12/09/2016 [1]

Modifying its September 5 order, the Supreme Court on Sep 12, 2016 asked the Karnataka government to release 12,000 cusecs water to Tamil Nadu

Order of the Supreme Court of India in the matter of State of Tamil Nadu Vs State of Karnataka & Others dated 12/09/2016 regarding Cauvery water dispute. In the Order the Apex Court modifies the order dated 5th September, 2016 "to the extent that the State of Karnataka shall release 12000 cusecs of water per day and the said direction, shall remain in force till 20th September, 2016."
