Judgement of the National Green Tribunal (Western Zone Bench, Pune) in the matter of Anil M. Khedekar Vs Ministry of Environment and Forests & Others dated 14/07/2017 regarding the Environmental Clearance (EC) granted by the State Level Environmental Impact Assessment Authority, Maharashtra (SEIAA) for the construction project of Mssrs. SD Corporation Pvt. Ltd. The project, in question, is a redevelopment project of a colony situated at Poisar Village, Mumbai. The impugned environmental clearance is for proposed expansion of the redevelopment project which was originally granted environmental clearance on 28th December, 2011.
NGT disposed of the Application as it found no merit in the contentions raised challenging the EC.
