Judgement of the National Green Tribunal (Western Zone Bench, Pune) in the matter of Austin Francis D’souza Vs Slum Rehabilitation Authority, Mumbai & Others dated 21/11/2017 regarding withdrawal of directions under Section 5 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 on a project/ construction at Katraj Road, Wadala, Mumbai and the project did not have environmental clearance.
NGT Western Zone Bench rejects the Application on the ground that the decision to withdraw the proposed directions under Section 5 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 merged into the EC dated 13th October, 2015.
