Court directs that number of vegetables and fruits to be tested should be enlarged and the periodicity of the checking should be increased and there should be transparency in respect of flow of information to the public by loading the necessary data arising from such checking on the website and being published in the newspapers so that the public is aware of what it is purchasing and from where. Delhi High Court also directs the concerned authorities to hold a joint meeting to draft a policy in this behalf to be placed before the Court and for this purpose a committee has to be constituted to frame the policy.
