Order of the National Green Tribunal in the matter of We the People Vs Union of India & Others dated 11/07/2018 regarding illegal felling of trees at Chak Ganjaria Farm at Lucknow in the process of setting up of Hightech City.

Counsel appearing for the State of Uttar Pradesh states that satellite data has been collected and report prepared by Remote Sensing Applications Center, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India at Lucknow. On that basis, a report has also been secured from the National Remote Sensing Agency at Hyderabad thereafter an analyses is required to be made by the Forest Department of the State of Uttar Pradesh intandem with the Remote Sensing Applications Center at Lucknow.
